Tom is an experienced energy consultant who has spent most of his 20 year career working in the evolving biofuels arena, including 14 years in key biofuels roles at BP based in London and Chicago. Before that, he worked in financial analysis, project development, strategy, finance and research for the largest generator of electricity from natural gas and geothermal resources in North America.
His work in ethanol, biodiesel, advanced biofuels, power, carbon and natural gas has resulted in extensive expertise across a broad variety of commercial activities, commodities, and geographies. Specifics include deal origination, negotiations for long-term biofuels and methanol supply, deal-making across many diverse countries and structuring complex commodity agreements in renewable markets.
